On Tuesday I attended the launch of women's wear at the swanky new
Abandon Ship Apparel store in Princes Square, Glasgow. It was an eventful evening! The
No. 3 Gin was flowing, there were boxes of doughnuts to munch on,
DIY Nails and Vidal Sassoon were in attendance giving people pretty-overs, and there were transfer tattoos and selfies a-plenty!
The clothes themselves are gorgeous. If you haven't already checked out Abandon Ship, then do! I'd heard of the brand and I thought their stuff seemed pretty cool, but its so much better than I imagined. The quality is amazing and their range is extensive, catering to both guys and girls with quirky prints and appliques. The style is right up my street, and there were many things that caught my eye!
I ended up opting for this oversized t-shirt which I plan to wear as a casual summer dress. It's maybe a wee bit on the short side, so a pair of safety shorts underneath might be a good idea. I love the stripe print, and the material is so soft and comfortable! Plus it has the Abandon Ship logo which I'm happy to be sporting!
I feel proud to see genuine, excellent quality and original fashion design from right here in Glasgow. As a city we're really beginning to make a mark for ourselves in terms of street style and Abandon Ship Apparel is definitely a game changer in that respect!
