So, I felt the time was right to try something new in the magical world of foundations, and when you're feeling particularly spendy on a Tuesday night after work, pre-Mexican food and long island ice teas, there's no better time to treat yourself at the Dior counter! I picked up the Diorskin Star foundation.
Previously my foundation favourites have been NARS sheer glow and MAC studio...

Make up treats
My Sunday haul
Since the other day was payday for me, I decided to treat myself to a few bits and pieces... the first being this gorgeous Illamasqua nail varnish in the colour Jo'mina. Can't wait to try this!
I couldn't resist this super cute Island Escape eye shadow palette by Purminerals: they're cream formula and the consistency and colour pay off is amazing! I also love the way...

Marshmallow Dreams Maid Cafe!

On Saturday I visited my friend Keara's maid cafe: Marshmallow Dreams Chocolate Love Valentine's Day event, at Cushion and Cake in Glasgow!
It was super cute and a lot of fun. We played games, drank rose tea, ate cupcakes, said some special Japanese magic charms, talked about what gives us "doki doki" *fluttering heartbeat* (unicorns and bubbles)

Right from when I was a little girl, she taught me never to give up on my dreams. She encouraged my artistic side and she made me believe anything was possible.
3. Sending and receiving postcards. There's...

Step back in time

Yesterday I went for a walk to Pollok Park (again) can't get enough of that place recently! It was a lovely, sunny Winter's day and great for a leisurely stroll, and a wander round the Burrell Collection.
It's been so long since I've been there - I love looking at all the exhibits. There are so many beautiful things from days gone by that inspire me and take my breath away.
I...

Electric Gardens
This evening I visited the Electric Gardens, an outdoor event currently happening in the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow's West End. It was eerie, magical and beautiful...
These saxophone players were all decked out with lights too...
I'm pretty sure I remember this ice cream cone from the Summer festival! Looks a bit out of place in all the ice and snow.. something rather sad about...
