Easter Fun! Cinema, Pizza-Making and Sunshine

Hey everyone. So I have had an amazing Easter week / weekend! I went to see The Grand Budapest Hotel, which did not disappoint! Wes Andserson is one of my favourite film-makers and I enjoy all of his cinematography, so I was so excited to see his latest project which followed the story of the concierge and his trusty lobby boy on a serious of completely outrageous adventures, artistically executed. My favourite parts were: the scene in which Zero and Agatha land in a pile of pink Mendl's boxes, the mountain scene, the jail breakout scene "Gunter was slain in the catacombs".

I received a much sought after book as a gift: The Wes Anderson Collection, which I am very excited to read and study in detail! I will post a review on here soon.

The weather has been glorious this past week! Also on Tuesday I harvested flowers to make natural dyes at Urban Roots, and I had bubble tea from Tempo Tea Bar which has newly opened in Glasgow! Exciting times. Memories of Australia! Last week I painted my nails like pandas and baby chicks for Easter weekend. On Friday I made pizza FROM SCRATCH, which was so satisfying. On Sunday I had lamb Easter dinner and watched the first episode of Fargo, which was excellent. Could be the new TV obsession.

Yesterday I went to the IMAX at Glasgow Science Centre to see the new Spiderman movie, which was such a good experience! We saw it in 3D, and it was well worth it. Andrew Garfield is excellent as Spiderman and Emma Stone's style was a high point (Shall maybe do a blog post on this) but Jamie Foxx stole the show with his performance as Electro! So hilarious as geeky Max in the beginning, and then totally bad-ass!

I've also picked up a few bits and bobs from H&M and Tesco which I will haul in a later blog post.

For now, ciao!

Kirsty
